Join Dr. James McPherson, a board-certified thoracic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience, for an evening of dinner and discussion hosted by the Medical Society of Eastern Pennsylvania (MSEP).

Dr. McPherson is an expert in the use of the da Vinci Xi robotic platform, a cutting-edge technology that enables minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer and other thoracic diseases—resulting in smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery times for patients. Drawing on his distinguished career in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery and his leadership in advancing robotic-assisted procedures, Dr. McPherson will share insights on how this technology is transforming patient care and surgical practice.

This dinner will also serve as MSEP’s General Body Meeting, during which members will have the opportunity to vote on nominees for the 2026–2027 Executive Board.
