The Dr. Edith P. Mitchell Research Symposium provides medical students and trainees with an opportunity to showcase original research, engage with physician leaders, and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.

Held in partnership with the National Medical Association (NMA) Region II Conference, the symposium highlights the important role that research plays in improving patient care, advancing health equity, and preparing the next generation of physician-scientists and healthcare leaders.
